Large, high-quality, flat screen TVs have never been so affordable (or so prevalent) as they are today. If you’ve recently finally upgraded or are thinking of upgrading from that old, heavyweight CRT unit you’ve had for 20 years then you’ve probably thought about the prospect of mounting it on a wall. There’s several benefits to wall mounting your TV: it frees up space lots of space, allows you to set the TV at an optimum height for viewing, it makes it more secure (and less likely to be knocked over by your dog – onto your cat) and it gives your room a fantastically modern look and feel.

“We wall mount TVs in Northampton, Kettering, Market Harborough, Wellingborough, Stamford, Oundle, Thrapston, and Corby…”

Obviously, the bigger the TV, the more likely it is to be a two-man job fitting it to the wall, especially if you don’t really know what you’re doing. But needing more than two hands isn’t the primary problem when wall mounting a TV – there’s lots of other issues to consider, and this is why we recommend leaving the job to the professionals!

Aerial Services have mounted hundreds of TVs of all sizes onto walls in all manner of properties; from small bungalows to large pubs and hotels. We will make sure your new pride-and-joy kit is secured safely and neatly to your wall, and will provide sound advice on where and where not to have a TV mounted.

For instance, you’d be surprised how many people think that mounting their TV over a fireplace is a great idea – it is not!

We carry out TV wall-mounting for Kettering, Stamford, Northampton, Wellingborough, Market Harborough and all surrounding areas.

We have years of firsthand experience mounting hundreds of TVs on wood studs, steel studs, plaster, brick, from the ceiling – you name it. You may think you’ll be saving money by trying to mount the TV yourself, but you need to have the right tools, a few hours available, a fair amount of skill, a lot of patience and probably some extra hands if you’re ‘doing-it-yourself’.

If you’re lacking in any of these, you could end up with either a broken television, a ruined wall or in some cases, both! You may also end up with something precariously fitted that just isn’t safe, which is the last thing you want in your home.

Even if you DO have the tools…

Things like stud finders can be really helpful when putting up a TV, but they can also be inaccurate (they’re easily fooled) and lead you to putting 15 holes in your wall before even finding a stud. Because we know exactly what we’re doing and have years of experience, we’ll make sure your wall doesn’t look like Swiss cheese behind your television!

Another thing to consider is cabling. You have a few different options in this regard if you don’t want to ruin your new tidy, contemporary set up with a bunch of dangling cables. Aerial Services will advise you on all of these so you can decide on the right option for you and your budget.

We are familiar with TVs of all makes, models and sizes, and you can be certain that we will safely handle yours. We can also link up your TV to all manner of other devices. Here are some examples of what we can install for you:
